"We were extremely grateful to Matt joining in our wedding day and captureing all of the photos for us. A truly hardworking and creative photographer, He captured everything, from the laughter, to the love and memories that summed up exactly how we remembered the day.
We would strongly recommend Matt Ryle Photography, and couldn't be happier with our photographs. Thank you."

As with all my photography I like to focus on capturing those precious moments and aim for high quality rather than high quantity. It is far nicer to look through 100 stunning photographs than 1000 average photographs.
* travel within a radius of 50 miles of Chichester, is free but please be away a small experience for fuel may be added for weddings further away than this. Please contact me for more specific pricing or to discuss other options such as photo printing or creation of photo book

Your wedding day should be one of life's most precious experiences, not only for you as a couple starting your life together, but for all of your family and friends who come to celebrate your special day with you as well. I want to help you remember your wedding and all its glorious details, I also want every wedding I photograph to be the best I have ever captured. Staying motivated and keeping a keen eye as a Wedding photographer is the key to taking unique and timeless photos, and this is partly the reason why I only offer three slots a month dedicated to Weddings or Civil Ceremonies.
As an experienced wedding photographer I focus on discrete documentary style shooting. The best photographers at a wedding are those which can go completely unnoticed until they are needed on group shots etc; I won't be running around the church causing distractions and taking center stage when all the eyes should be on you, just the way it should be.
As a photographer part of my job is to set up shots where appropriate or desired, but in general the best photos captured are when you are relaxed, happy and enjoying your day.
As part of the Full Day wedding photography package, I also offer an engagement shoot. There are several reason for this, one of the main is that some couples can feel entirely uncomfortable in front of a camera, and on what can be already a high pressure day, you certainly don't want to be anxious about me taking photos of you. By meeting up in a casual setting or even at your wedding venue we can get to know each other, and get you used to being more relaxed with a camera around. A huge part of my job as a professional photographer is making people feel as at ease as possible. I haven't met many couples that love posing, but I have yet to meet a couple that regret having posed photos of there wedding day. A engagement shoot is the perfect way to work through some ideas so that on your wedding day we can get through them as quickly as possible and get you back to the fun of the party and your guests. (please note the free Engagement shoots are limited to the West Sussex/surrey/Hampshire area unless requested as a additional extra)
Pre Wedding Meetings
I really like to meet up with you as a couple before the wedding when ever possible, face to face meetings our limited to a fairly local area, but I will always ask to set up a Skype call as a minimum just for us to get a better feel for each other. I hope by know you can see the extremely high quality of photos I produce, however if you are going to have me at your wedding day you need to be comfortable around me.
Ideally we would also meet up at the wedding venue a month or so before the date, just to talk through the details of timings etc and make sure you are happy with the plan of when and where we will get certain photos.
General wedding bookings
Being a Wedding photographer is a extremely rewarding, and a extremely draining job. When I photograph your wedding for you I want not only to be 100% powered up physically, but also mentally, I was to shoot several wedding a week as a lot of Sussex and Hampshire photographer do, I do not believe I would be able to truly engage and commit to your day. Because of this I only offer out 3 wedding slots per month, once those three days are filled I do not take any other bookings for the month. This can mean disappointing a lot of people and turning away clients, but it also creates extremely happy and content clients for the ones that have booked.
Please get in touch as soon as possible to enquire about your date.
Last minuet wedding bookings
Although we are usually very busy, if you do have a last minuet booking please don't hesitate to get in touch to see if we can help out in photographing your wedding day. There's always a chance we will be able to sort something out for you.
