Meet Matt (Lead Photographer & Videographer)

I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember.
Even now — after years of shooting weddings — I still get that spark of excitement when I look at the playback screen and see a moment captured exactly as it felt.

For me, photography is equal parts instinct, curiosity and connection. It’s noticing the way someone laughs, the way a dress moves in the wind, the way two people look at each other when they think no one else is watching. My job isn’t just to record what happens — it’s to photograph how it felt.

Outside of weddings, my life is filled with adventure. I’m happiest exploring mountains with Bella and our two kids, Robyn and Rune (who aren’t really “babies” anymore, even if part of me hopes they’ll stay little forever). The mountains became part of our story when we walked the Te Araroa trail in New Zealand — 3,000km of mud, sand, rivers and wild scenery. Somewhere along those miles, I discovered how much I love the combination of challenge, nature and human connection… which, funnily enough, feels a lot like photographing a wedding.

One day, we hope to live in a small house in the Lake District — climbing, exploring, and photographing wonderful couples (preferably on a mountain or two).

When I’m not shooting weddings, you’ll find me searching for crystals with Robyn (her obsession), or making wooden swords with Rune (his obsession). Their curiosity, energy and joy remind me daily why I do this — because life is full of little magic moments that deserve to be remembered.

I’m Bella — Matt’s partner in life, love, parenting and photography.

I’m a lover, not a hater. I’m here for the hugs, the laughter, the happy tears, the chaos, the nerves, the dance‑floor silliness and the quiet moments nobody else sees. Capturing photos that I know you’ll love makes me genuinely happy.

At weddings, I’m the calm energy, the encouraging voice, the one who notices the details — the hand squeeze, the proud parent glance, the kids sneaking icing from the cake table. I’m there to support you, support Matt, and make the day feel effortless.

I feel incredibly privileged to witness the moments where people show who they really are. Those are the images that last. Those are the stories I never get tired of documenting.
